A typical morning I watch the Today show while I'm checking out dpchallenge.com, eating my oatmeal with whey, dried currants, honey and cinnamon and downing a handful of vitamins. Oh, and I get ready and go to work also.

It seems like a relaxing way to start your day, unless your picture in a challenge isn't doing so hot. :o)

To answer all the concerns, the oatmeal (quick oatmeal 2 minutes in microwave BTW) and vitamins aren't normally on the PC, but are there to fit the picture better. This morning I ate it on the freeway on the way to dropping off the dog at the vet to get groomed. Multitasking is required on my job (UNIX Sysadmin).

It is safe to have your oatmeal on your laptop?? haha, j/k. Nice "Slice of Life"!

I like this because it's all geeky adn you have dpc up. What really makes it for me is that I do this every morning except for the TV. PC, cereal, vitamins, and a glass of soymilk do it for me.

I like it, but don't you have a lot of food inside your laptop this way? Nice car on the right. Keep WII-ing!

I would consider that multitasking at its best.

That really is a nice slice of life - love the arrangement there on your computer. Fun shot!

It's not normally so centered, but I thought it looked better that way and it was easier to set up than moving one of the two recliner chairs to the left and right of the PC. It's a 50" plasma TV, which doesn't seem to have the banding tube TVs have. I don't know if LED TVs have that problem or not. The RC car is sitting on the cable box to keep Stephanie (see day 3) from lying on the warm box. Also visible is our DVD player, Wii and some other junk I should have cleared away. Thanks for the new word zeitgeist. My breakfast and lunch are healthy. My diet sort of falls apart at dinner time.

nice zeitgeist (maybe it's the vitamins, the whey, the laptop, and Meredith V or whoever that is?) slice of life shot.

I love it!! All that technology in your face :-) Love the centered, very ordered composition. How did you get that great TV shot without the banding?? Cool! While my setup may look different (not nearly so centered and ordered, LOL) my morning is much the same!
