You couldn't have found more perfectly contrasting colors if you had tried. I like how the grasshopper and the leaves are the same green. The rose looks beautiful against the dark background. |

WOW! Great colors & textures & talk about perfect timing! Is that a grasshopper or a katydid (Katydid - Wikipedia)?
I'm definitely glad you had your professional tripod so you could get this shot, it is beautiful! |

I am totally having a passionate love affair with my "professional" tripod, but my husband gave it to me so he can't complain or even tease me about it, bwa ha ha ha! I love that you included a photo of yours.
What a serendipitous capture, with the grasshopper in the rose! I like the contrasting colors. |

Great image! The color combination in this pic just really stands out. I like that. It's cool how his color is almost perfeftly matched with the green of the flower leaves. Just a cool pic overall! |

Fabulous capture! I love the limited palette of deep red and green with the black background. Mr. hopper who is so beautifully green and well lit to boot is perfectly framed in that velvety rose. Hubby can tease away (I'm used to similar teasing) but who cares when the result is this! |

Great shot. He matches the leaf color so perfectly, and the contrast is just right. Your dark background make the rose pop. |

Yes, this is a perfect macro of that little fellow, and I love how his colors compliment that vibrant red so well. And hey, you don't even need to respond about the tripod. . . your end result speaks volumes in your defense, right? :) This is awesome!
