The lighting as well as the focus is very bad.

Picture not in focus, no enough illuminated

Good concept & good title but it is way too out of focus to score well in DPC. I would suggest that you take the photograph in the day time or in a much better lit enviroment to improve your lighting. I don't know what your lighting source here is but it is also hurting your photograph. If you can, try to capture detail in the dogs fur. Dpcers seem to score better for that. I hope this helps.

Pretty poor resolution on this one. Also the camera flash causes harsh shadows. It meets the challenge though.

Are you serious? Out of focus, too small (pixelated) bad flash
10/15/2007 06:54:30 AM
Cute little doggie. I suggest dropping the contrast, boosting the saturation, and adjusting the lighting to really make this image "pop" :).
10/14/2007 06:55:11 PM
Too pixelated. Highlights too burned out.
10/14/2007 01:52:53 PM
This will I'm sure score poorly for a number of reasons. Unfortunately the focus is not at all sharp and the exposure is poor, particularly where the dog's head and body are lost merging into the background.

very snall, looks blury and pixalated, it is only 28k, you can go up to 150k
10/13/2007 05:00:56 PM
Too much contrast & out of focus.
10/13/2007 08:20:10 AM
Quality is too poor to enjoy...3

just not a good shot, bad exposure, not in focus, on board flash is also a bad idea
10/12/2007 08:44:08 AM
Was this taken with a cellphone?!
10/12/2007 07:04:43 AM
Very blurry, but also pixelated and the contrast is way off.
10/11/2007 09:37:19 PM
no focus point
10/11/2007 02:50:37 PM
not a very good quality picture, at all.
10/11/2007 02:02:15 PM
Poor lighting and out of focus.
10/11/2007 12:39:10 PM
Sorry to be so harsh, but I'm betting this image for last place ribbon. Blurry, low resolution, blown out highlights, shadows blend into background. Snapshottish in appearance.
10/11/2007 12:36:22 PM
I'm quite sure there are a number of comments already, so at the risk of repeating any criticism, the image has lost a lot in your post-processing routine.
10/11/2007 02:40:58 AM
Harsh light & shadows, OOF, chunky pixels.
10/10/2007 06:24:51 PM
This images seems blurry to me.
10/10/2007 12:06:58 PM
ooo...
10/10/2007 09:44:20 AM

Some really questionable quality issues here, I'm afraid... at 28k, it's only 1/5 the file size allowed by the site.
10/10/2007 04:58:32 AM
needs a bit of work, practice and learning
10/10/2007 03:35:49 AM
off focus, I am sure it could be better, Must have uploaded the wrong file.
10/10/2007 12:20:43 AM
The quality of the picture is really bad... And the flash looks to be very hard.
10/09/2007 11:20:54 PM
out of focus
10/09/2007 09:40:02 PM
shadows are a bit harsh and focusing needs work but the potential for a really interesting shot looms on the horizon.
