 I really loved the purple with its background, and hence framed it half, so that it would look good.

I framed it like that.

Shot taken in the afternoon sun, with nice bright sunlight. No flash used in this image.

you are never allowed to use text in your photo unless the special rules are in place and state that you can. In any case the rules are clear in this reguard. Not to mention that you never put your name on the entry because the whole point to the challenge is NOT TO KNOW WHO TOOK THE SHOT.

Sorry. It is a nice capture though. It could do with a little more focus but the colour is nice and the contrast stands out nicely.
