 Tried to make something out of the mess you get (this is just a part) when two of your kids are playing hockey in the rain (both are keepers) and you forgot to put it away (10 minutes before going to work). Hoped I could make a nice shot outside today, but the weather was so gray and dull.

Made a second layer, gaussian blurred it heavily and cropped an oval with a 100px feather.

love the colors in this true slice-of-life shot. Also, I can identify with the piles of STUFF. My son and husband had a boy scout hike scheduled for a weekend in August, so they got out all their hike stuff... hike got rescheduled till mid-September, stuff stayed out... hike got cancelled, guess what's still heaped around all over the place in the garage. Sigh.

this really stood out for me as a thumb .. i love the way you've done the vignette with the blur and those colours are excellent .. great image .. :)

You succeeded! I'm always so impressed when people can take the ordinary and make cool photos! It's downright inspiring! The blur around the edges makes the mess look intentional and artsy :)
