 Wow - for once going with my gut actually worked out for me. With 500 other images to contend with, I never imagined I would ribbon with this one! Once the score dropped to around 7.2 I figured I would be lucky to hit top ten - there were so many great images in this challenge I am truly honored to find myself on the podium :~)

We always complain that sunsets and sky pictures win but man this is outstanding. The texture and overall depth of tone. WOW - getting a 9 from me.
