Yikes - i can't believe how low this ended up . .
Having said that I have seen a number of nice portraits crash and burn in Free Studies so I guess it may not be so surprising.
For what it's worth this is still a really nice portrait and worth a much higher score. I gave it a 9 during voting. |

| She looks almost like Alanis Morisette. I don't understand why you would hide her face behind the hair like that. I don't really do portraits so maybe that's the thing to do now. Love how you brought out the color of her eyes. |

A very nice portrait that would be easy to overlook at thumbnail.
I'm not sure whether I like the hairstyle but that might just be jealousy because I don't have enough hair to recreate it myself :- ) but as an overall picture I think it's delightful. The lighting, softness, gentle colours, all of it quite delightful.
I hope this does well. |

| Off kilter and quirky shot, quite fun. It's a little high-key for my taste on the right side (left side of her face), but other than that I like it. |

| But it's Spring hehe. Lovely photo. I would have liked to see the DOF increased slightly to bring her ears etc into focus, the background is a little distracting as well. |

| Nice portrait work and I realize the hair over half the face is intentional (and very pretty hair - love the color) but I would liked just a bit of that side of the face, too. This does work nicely, though. |

| I love the how the colour of her eyes and hair match perfectly. The crop is slightly strange to me, but probably there was a reasn for it. It looks like it was made for the "Half" challenge ;) |
