You met the challenge by including the parents on the right, but the image as it exists here is quite cluttered and distracting to me. The pinks in the blanket and pants, along with the tennis racquets and the plastic bag, do nothing to help the image.
I would suggest taking a tight crop of the girl and doe she's feeding, and converting that to black and white or sepia tone. Judging by the look and posing of the girl relative to the deer, I think you'd have an excellent shot in your portfolio. |

lens distortion is a big issue here. besides it does not look like a group portrait to me. |

Aint fallow deer pretty? This has a very snapshot feel to it and doesnt really strike me as a `portrait`. not very stimulating I am afraid. 4 |

A Picture of the girl feeding the deer might have been more interesting. The tennis rackets and people sittiing onthe ground are distracting. |

Nice picture of a day out in nature (well, in nature, the deer wouldn't be so close, right?) As a grou portrait, I don't think much of it. No faces and disturbing items all over (4) |

Good thing they brought the deer chow. Interesting subject for the portrait. |

I find the composition a little distracting. Perhaps coming in close on the girls and deer? |

I would have loved to see this photo with a soft focus, the grass and ski a little brighter, and without the tennis raquet's and bag. I think it would have looked more peaceful that way. Great job though! |

The tennis rackets have me baffled. Very interesting shot, actually. Might also try it in black and white. |

This is cute, but is it a portrait or snapshot? A polarizer for the clouds would have really helped. |
