I'm sure, it was hard for you... first entry and your first free study...
It's a nice pic, interesting play with lighting and colors. But if you like to get a better score, is this not a good idea for free study. It's not enough DPC-friendly, IMO
don't worry! Good luck for your next entry! |

Thanks for the comments. I'm glad it wasn't last place, although I thought it might be. I just wanted to get into a challenge. Mission accomplished. Now I have a better idea what to do for the next one. Good job to everybody else who entered this challenge. |

Interesting but not much else. Yes, I see the smile, it looks like a happy face. |

Good color and well cropped/framed, and I do see the smile in the middle. There's a bit of graininess in the dark areas (on my monitor - probably not noticeable on lots of others). Overall, other than the novelty of the smilie, though, it lacks anything to hold the viewer. |

Nice colors but other than that this image is just kind of flat. No real wow power to it. |

Took me a second to spot the smile. A daring shot to put in a free study - I think it could do with a little more contrast to really blacken the blacks and make the colours jump out a bit more. Noise reduction wouldn't hurt either. |
