This is one of my boys. Probably won't do to well, will probably get comments on the upper left corner and being dark. One of my favorites though!

Lovely highlight on the wide, seems like the shadow side had some forced brightening and the noise it makes kind of gets in the way of the image

The sidelighting is very pretty here, and nice DOF. Feel like the horse is ever so slightly OOF, though.

Low depth of field makes his nose a little blurry. Otherwise a nice portait of this fellow.

Sweet horse, good pose. Unfortunately your depth of field is too shallow and the entire horse's face is not in focus. I guess that is because of the early morning light which is not bright enough. Not sure if fill flash would have helped.

More room around the subject - especially to catch the sun on the horse's left side downward would be better - 7
