 This could be too simple for a free study. I didn't really know what to put in this month, so this one won.

I saw the two different colored pieces coming together and thought that was pretty cool.

It's a very Zen-like image and I'm frankly surprised it didn't do better in the voting - it deserved better. There does appear, viewed on my monitor, to be a bit of "artifact" around the edges of twigs - possibly due to oversharpening? But nevertheless a nicely seen image and the composition is direct and effective.

Wow super abstract with great bokeh. Only minor point may be to have cloned out the stick in the left bottom corner which is a bit of a distraction still a worthy 7
