 This is the Lab where I work, at the Multidisciplinary Nanotechnology Centre see here

This machine is a Ultra High Vacuum Scanning Tunnelling Microscope & Atomic Force Microscope and is worth around £1000,000. This allows us to study various properties of surfaces with ultimately atomic resolution.

I really dont know how the shot will fare, but I enjoyed taking it. I was watching the 3rd season of LOST and they used a very similar lighting colour scheme in the 'others' island - green and orange with blue/red background. I thought it worked well with the stainless steel of the equipment.

the ONLY entry that actually showed some actual research-grade technology! Excellent! The green and orange lights really add the drama; too bad about the windows in the back-right!

This looks like a high tech machine. Nice photo, I think you should try to get some blurring in the background, since that guy is distracting the main subject of the photo.
