| Thank for all your comments. This was taken as the sun was setting and the moon just happen to be there. This tree is really amazing. It's roots are actually growing out of a rock ledge and just by looking at it you can see the history of it. In order to get the negative space, I'm below the level of the tree, looking up as I snapped the photo. |

I like the colours and contents of this photo very much. My preference would be for a portrait shot and to have the moon further away from the tree, though this may have been a) not possible or b) completely not what you wanted. Great feeling of being at the top of a tall mountain, growing out on its own...

| Crop off the bottom to eliminate the cliff and see what you think. I think it looks fantastic that way. The moon in the background just adds a little quirk to it too. Good job. |

| This is beautiful. The colors are wonderful. The placement of the moon is a bit weird, but I'm not sure if you could have moved a little more to the left or something to fix that. Nice lighting and expsoure. The dark shadows don't bother me much, but you might try a different time of day to see if you could avoid them. I also think you could have left a little more blue on the right side of the shot. Could you not crop lower? I feel like this is a ledge, but maybe that's only an illusion. | This is quite beautiful :) The moon's presence in the image adds an extremely nice touch... If an eagle or a condor or some other large bird was coming in for a landing here, that would be just amazing too :) great shot... = 9 - jmsetzler |

| Arrg...negative space being the WOW of the photo? The WOW is the knarled tree coming out of the rock. I do like the moon showing. Good placement and nice clear shot with beautiful sky. |
