 THE IMAGE: At the Zoo, this Orangutan was right up against the glass posing for me with it's young. It started to rain so she took a sheet and covered herself. I thought about the HALF Challenge...and here is my entry.

THE EDIT: Because I shot this at high ASA, it really needed a lot of tidying up. It was quite grainy. So some USM, Noise Ninja, Levels, Curves, Colour Corrections, Desaturation, D and B, A layer of Noise Ninja and masking for a smoother sheet...cloned out some dust specks...blurred a little bit here and there...not sure it is exactly how I want it, but it will be OK.

THE PREDICTION: 6? Can I get a 6 after a few below par images? Hope so...

WoW - so this prediction was dead on! I think you should start predicting to the hundreth decimal place to start making things really intereing! : ) Very sweet image.

Marvelous shot, and I love the title too. I couldn't guess how you got an orangutan to pose like that. It's interesting that she didn't like the rain, and covered herself like any of us would have done. Good job on noise reduction while still maintaining the detail.

Haha. While Librodo's subjects are slightly more attractive than yours, I think you nailed the concept. Very funny.
