 It's a Capybara. I'd never heard of one until I started hanging out at our zoo. . .until I fell in love with these adorable animals. They're actually the world's largest rodent, and they are in fact HUGE! About the size of a small bear -- but they are so pet like. I've seen their care taker call each one of the 3 by their name, and they'll come to her when they hear their name. She plays with them and gets them to stand on their hind legs,then she gives them lettuce and treats. I always wanted to get one in a challenge, but they never fit. But they posed very nicely here for the Half-Challenge.

I thought it was a beaver (but I don't know much about animals). Still a great photo (voted this higher than the winners). Still find this a very good "half" photo.

this is really nice! very good sharpness. The big white frame is a tad overdone, IMO.

A little brighter, and without the massive white border, this would have been a real contender!
