 Aidan fell in love with this viking hat while we were shopping at the Halloween store. Looks like he'll be a viking this year! He was a great model! I haven't used him for a DPC entry in over a year and he has really honed his acting/expressions capability in that time. He takes direction better and better - so cool!

It was a crying shame to tear up this pic with a half crop - I like the original so much.

Shot in RAW. Lightroom adjustments. Elements - levels, neat image, sharpen, USM, minor cloning, burn/dodge, sleective color, blur, sat/desat, crop, save for web.

As Irish as this kiddo is, he actually has a touch of Swedish in him, believe it or not! Were the Swedes considered Vikings? I'm really liking this portrait. Can't think of any of your pictures that I don't like, come to think of it!

If this didn't have such good focus light and bokeh, I might say "eh, another half crop" but it's well done and the horns on the helmet really add a nice curved line.
