such attractive versatile birds Egrets . . that's why we see them again and again, and this is another nice example of an attractive bird still looking elegant despite the slightly stinky looking pond :- )

Very interesting. It almost looks like maybe the photo was stretched or perhaps this bird can just really extend its neck. In any event, I think its a good photo. I like the reflection in the water the best.

good capture, but had cropped off some at the bottom, where the surface is out of focus. that would also help for a more balanced composition. lights are unfortunately blown.

A pretty good shot of one of these elegant birds. They're hard to capture well because it's easy to have the whites get "blown" - lose all detail - if you want the rest of the shot to be properly exposed. A bit average in "appeal".
