 rainy day, really cool light due to overcast sky.
shot with my tammi 28-75 with manipulated uv-filter attached. what i did was i smeared hair styling gel on the filter, that gave a really cool effect, but after 15 minutes the gel was dried out, so i just put another plastic warpper on it and voila, i had the soft focus effect "in-camera".
in pp i only did curves, color balance and selective color.
resize, save for web

my prediction is 5.6 for this one, but i like it and hope others will do so, too. :)

Wonderful shot, one of my top picks this challenge. Almost a third of the votes are 7 and higher, which is a lot for a 5.7 image; a lot of the voters felt this was exceptional. Fie on the nay-sayers!

Cant quite put my finger on why I love this shot. Has a cool painting like feel to it. The color tones are interesting and the green boots stand out just right. I just find this to be an overall pleasing image. I scored you a 9 and I have this as my fave in the challenge. It probably isnt scoring real good for you, but know you have at least one major fan right here. Good luck!

Composition: Subject Placement, Cropping, Background good,
Technical: Focus,good Exposure:over exposed highlights on right distracting , nice timing, good focal point
