I wish the s-curve was a stronger element in the composition.

Great photo... The color of the smog is truly sicking! Is the balloon meant to be the "S" curve?
10/01/2007 01:35:30 PM
Nice scene, but I'm not sure where the S-curve is, the ballon, the distant grass, the clouds?

The S-curve concept just didn't come to me in this image. Don't know how you meant to imply it?
09/30/2007 01:13:46 PM
Not really sure if it meets the challenge but certainly it is a great capture.

beautiful pallette.

I am really not seeing any S-curve here. No leading line. It is a very nice image and the processing is interesting, but I don't think it's right for this challenge.

This is an outstanding capture. Where's the "S-curve", though?
09/28/2007 02:38:38 PM
I am confused about the S in this photo. Where is it? Nice balloon, landscape and sky. To me the S is missing.
09/28/2007 02:36:00 PM
Love the shot, but where is the S

This is a pleasant photo. Fun to look at and I like the way the balloon is taking the upper-left corner compositionally. As for the challenge connection - I'm not seeing it. Sorry if it's not obvious to me and I'm missing it. My understanding of the challenge is to have a 'S' curve that leads the viewer thru the image. I honestly can't see that here.

JMO of course. :) Good luck in the challenge.

Sorry, I don't see a curve that leads me through the photo.

This looks really neat.

nice colors, and capture, sadly oversharpened

I see no S-curve in your composition.

Love the cropping and vibrant color of the balloon. It makes me think of Mary Poppins! And, yes, I like mary Poppins. I don't know about any 's-curve', but it's a great photo. Good Job!

not seeing an S curve here
09/26/2007 12:58:48 PM
Fantastic shot! I love the image, but I just can't make the S-Curve connection...
