 I took this shot hoping it would turn out better. It ALWAYS looks better on the little digital camera screen. ALWAYS! The shame is I actually had to pull two pedals off the flower. I was looking for one with a natural look to it. But none the less here it is. I love the pink glow on the top leaf. I did a little spot editing on the bottom leaf and thats about it. I messed with the B/C and color saturation in Elements. I used neat image to reduce some noise but thats pretty much the original photo there!

the whole image appears out of focus. I'm not sure if you were trying to get a shallow DOF and just messed up on your focus or if you intended to have it this way. Good idea with only half the petals...thinking outside the garden.
