 wanted to highlight the road - changed curves; tried also curves drastic change with road only visible in the darkness, but considered too much change for basic editing.

Thanks everyone for comments and voting this high :) I agree, I needed more work to make it brighter - my bad. Though I positioned curve not in the center purposely - didn't want to have is as the most important part of composition.

I like the emptiness of the highway, and the layering of the hills, but would like to see more contrast. Too bad it wasn't a little more sunny out.

i think that the crop is kind of funky in this photo, b/c my eyes don't know where too look and the subject is a little too small

It's a little dark on my monitor. Frustrating, because I really like the composition and scene.

this is a nice shot and does a good job of using a curve to lead the viewer's eye through the picture. Unfortunately, the sun didn't cooperate and it's a little too dark.

Nice, but little too dark on the bottom. The S curve actually directs you out of the picture in this case, although there's probably nothing you could have done about the shooting angle in this case.
