Love this! And I loved Colorcarnival's voice over down there... great! I'm a tea-aholic too. I would so buy a print of this! Will you make available?

After a long day of work, Earl was exhausted! All he wanted to do was go have a cup of tea, relax, and go to bed. Earl gathered everything and sat down at the table. He closed his eyes for a moment, and everything went black. He opened his eyes noticed his tea and accompaniments were just floating in a big black void. It was like everything was going to tilt to the left and fall just past his lap. He rubbed his eyes, figuring that he had to be dreaming. He looked again and saw that his tea was now rising out of the cup. Good lord, he thought, I've got to stop going to the bar before the long drive home! Earl sat there for a few moments, trying to figure out what to do. He reached for one of the sugar cubes to chew on, but the whole cup managed to stay beyond his grasp. He kept reaching and stretching but could never quite get it. He cried, layed his head on the table, and fell asleep. When Earl awoke the next morning, everything was sitting before him, just as he had arranged it. The tea was in the cup, the pears were in the tin, and the sugar cubes were right in front of his nose.
So are you going to grab the sugar cubes this time? I hope so, you know I have my fingers crossed for you that one of your photos will get the score recognition that it deserves. Best of luck and I hope you land a personal best! :D |

This was a good and original idea IMHO the angle needed to be lower down and not looking down on the tea set but more front on. Also the black backgroiund does not look right looks like the set is floating in space! |

Tempest in a Teacup would have sufficed as the title. |

I had to look for the movement. I like the idea but its a little lost outside the cup because it blends in with the background |

Good clean shot. I don't care too much for the floating look though. |

I like this very much. Nice layout and the splash is very noticeable even though the background is so dark. |

Blown highlights in the sugar, loose crop and focus are all things that could be improved in this image. |
