Quite lovely shot of this creature. I like the shadows in the background, but the blown out highlight really draws my eye away from the subject, thereby minimizing the impact of the beauty of the butterfly (or moth?).

Meets challenge and is a lovely subject. Composition is a little too low and the colours in the background do not gel very well with the butterfly's wings. Crisp, clean shot.

Wonderful DOF and composition. The main subject is the main subject and a interesting one at that. His colors are deep and rich. My only tiny issue is the leaves aren't as deep/rich in color as he is. However, this is beautiful !

This one is perfect for this challenge. You really used shallow DOF to isolate the butterfly. Plus, I really like the composition.
