Normally I would advocate a closer crop on this, but I like the lines in the rocks and think they enhance the image.

There appears to be a halo around the insects face, I do like the dof you used but I would also have liked to see more contrast.

Its almost as if it was posing for you! But I think the background was blurred a little too much, the back end of the pray mantise should be a little more clear. And maybe with a little more editing you could of made his color a little brighter.

I just love these critters, we don't get them here. Great DOF and composition, seems a tad dull, maybe a bit more contrast?
