| This has a haze over it. Its not as sharp as it needs to be. I think it would be much better with the cat's eye open as well. I'm not wild about the idea either. I'm not sure how it works for this challenge. |

I don't know if this has shallow DOF or not. The soft focus/high key effect is not the best choice for this type of challenge IMHO.

| what a sweet photo! definitely one that i would keep working on. looks to me like you've clipped the image a little too much when trying to edit out the background. a little more work and this would be great. |

| Because the background has been removed, there's no way to really tell if this meets the challenge or not. The framing and the cat's expression are interesting, though. |
