Thanks for the comments. A lot of you complained about the motion blur, but I thought the blur made the cat look sort of mystical. I had sharper photos just like this, but this one stuck out because of the slight motion blur.

This is good use of neg space and meets the challenge. The focus is a little soft but the over all pic is nice any way. Good luck in the challenge! Grayce aka Gracious

This is really beautiful to me. I love the way your cropped it to makethe most of the curves in the cat's profile. The space makes me wonder what the cat is thinking, and also makes it mysterious. Great work. 10 - lisae

Cute cat. It looks like she moved her head slightly. 5

I really like the softness of this pic. THe cat looks so relaxed. The corners being dark at the top takes away from the nice blue background, though, I afraid (at least for me). karmat

little interest

Such an interesting angle which creates an interesting shape from the cat. I'd prefer the brown skirtboard not to be visible, just blue wall all the way.
Unusual cat photo, and nice composition.

would have liked to see the picture crisper ... less motion blur.

Gorgeous and oh so poised--is there anything so satisfied as a cat who is pleased with life and with himself. Wonderful cat portrait. andrewm

nice photo of the cat, but the "negative space" doesn't have enough WOW.

very pretty photo, i love the gleam in the cat's eye.

interesting :) The motion blur has created a 'glow' effect here... nice! - jmsetzler

Good use of neg space for me. Unfortunate cat movement detracts a little. 8

Nice. Wish a tad more focus on the face, but this is nice. Good luck. Score 7 Justine
