 My first 40D entry - what a camera!

Of course a tribute to gaurawa's awesome Liquids 201 : Surface Tension:


As soon as I heard about the challenge I knew this was the one I wanted to do, I remember seeing the original on the BBC. I loved figuring out how to do it - it was A LOT harder than I thought, but I love the thrill of the chase!

Lots of cloning out nasty spots on the water and a pesky hair that lay across the paperclips.

Wow! Look at those bold & vibrant color hues! The red really *pops* off the black and the electric blue surface lines. Speaking of lines, it is the lines and curves of the shapes seen in the composition that really captures and draws the eye in. It is very hypnotic in both the original and this emulation. Lovely details, color and lighting in this composition! Great job!
