This is a rack of 9 fire hydrants waiting to be installed. Now 6:30 the clouds were rolling in heavy and I was having trouble with the chain Link fence. More light would have helped. Might go back next week. I seem to shoot a lot of municipal plumbing fixtures. Don't know why.

Something very anthropomorphic about this shot - like fallen soldiers or... Could use maybe a little more contrast or selective colors to bring out the reds bit more?

My camera hates bars, screens, and fences. I like my old 35mm - if you got close enough, you could blur a fence out of existence. I like the shot - I think the fence adds.

I think this works with the fence, captive hydrants!! Just imagine rampant hydrants roaming the streets! Good capture.

Interesting subjuct, maybe you had trouble with finding a bathroom in a past life, or you could have been a plumber! Nice image, great idea.

Ditto Estimatedeyes. Is there a chance of getting on the other side of the fence? Fire plugs have character, don't they?!

Interesting subject and definitely worth a reshoot. I think the fence is too distracting here, but would be tough to get close enough to throw that out of focus while still keeping enough of the main subject in the frame. Nice find though.
