 The local kindergarten's Sports Carnival. This is the Red Team; the white team is about the same size, so you can see it's not a very big kindergarten.
I wanted to change my lens to the fisheye zoom for this shot, but I had to take one at least while the balls were in the air - and, yes, by the time I'd swapped lenses, the game was over.

It was a big day for Sports Carnivals - my own three schools had theirs, and other schools I know of (but not the local one).

It is so nice to see the support of both parents and other siblings at events like this it makes them so much more fun for the children. The colors are fantastic and you can never go wrong with a fun shot full of children. Great photo.

I love your school shots. There's always something interesting going. Particularly intriguing is how color coordination seems to be a big thing. Really a cute shot with all the kids playing like this.

Really fun shot and the colors just jump off the screen. I count at least 5 others taking pictures/video - I bet there were a lot more.

Lots of stuff to see, which is nice. I like how some of those with camcorders seem to be focusing their attention elsewhere while the red-ball crowd is intent on their task - some more than others. And lots of pink shoes.

You did the right thing to grab a shot while you could. There's so much energy and concentration going on in this - you've captured some of the way kids are, I think.
