Lots of good elements in the shot, and the blurry bit has sort of a 40's movie star soft-glow feel to it. If this is cropped from a larger shot, I would play with the composition. |

I like this as a subject. Personally I prefer to obtain blur by using shallow DOF, but what you've done works fine as well. I like how you've considered the ROT's in your composition. I think the lamp could use just a tad more breathing room above and below, but especially below. Good eye to see this. :) |

Nice old lamp, and nice shot. If this is where you grew up, you probably have walked by that lamp many, many times and not even noticed it. I think a little more above & below the lamp would improve the shot. |

Nice depth of field and tones, personally I could do with a bit more contrast. |

Nice composition. I like that you focused on the lamp and left everything else blurry. Nice change to have the focus on the right instead of the left. Tones work well with the old lantern. |

I love the feeling of this shot it's very nice... might have brought that blur effect in toward the lamp just slightly more.. otherwise, great shot. |
