I am jealous you were at ACL, I am going next year for sure. This is a great live music shot, the B&W really adds to it. |

Nice range of tones throughout the image. Good exposure too. I know it's hard with bands to deal with all the shiny bits on stage and still keep everything else well lit. |

Nice candid shot! I love how all of them look really into playing, but the drummer looks like he's looking right at you. |

Well composed with a clear view of everyone on stage. Good exposure and great tones from white to black. |

Nice capture. Anyone who wants to criticize live performance shots should try (and try and try) to take some good ones first. Usually the lighting is low (slow shutter speed), combined with the fact that everyone is in constant motion, and continually move behind this, that, or the other thing. They don't stand together, so you have significant gaps between band members... you get the picture (or don't as the case too often is). In this shot, the guitar players are looking down, kind-of obscuring their faces a bit (oh, let's not talk about the long hair...). The drummer is looking up and his entire face is visible. This shot has a welcoming feel to it - like they're enjoying what they're doing, and want you to as well. Nicely done.
