Nice simple yet interesting image. Like the colors, composition, framing and crop. Even without the movement in the sky, still be a good image. Make a nice 'wall sized' piece of 'art'. Parts of the red (sun) seems to be bordering on overcontrast/blown/something, but minor. The coloring masks it well anyway. Good meet of the Challenge. I didn't vote, but hypothetically likely would have given this an 8 or 9.

I love this. The whizzing "comet" really adds to it. Great intensity of color. I am wishing that the line of the silhouette were a touch more crisp. Maybe I need more coffee! Well done. 8

I like the color and the highlighted jet streams. But, the obvious "banding" (sharp edges vs continuous gradients) in the sky seriously detracts from this shot.
