Cool, It looks like a girl coming out of the shower or pool with a towel wrapped around her hair.
It's a sort of different approach to minimalism, by only having a small bit of detail, instead of a small bit in the details.

from the roots of my Catholic upbringing, what comes to mind immediately is an image of the Virgin Mary...

Yes definitely has a ghostly feel. The grain here is essential I think. Nice one!

That is great! Looks abstract, but is not. Looks scary at first glance, but at the second glance ... hmmm, still looks scary! :) Like a ghost.
