Wonderful imprint. To me though, it looks more like a pheasant taking air. Tail feathers are stiff on hawks, but pointed in a pheasant,see the tail feathers with points. Also, pheasants have rounded wings, just like this one. Could it be a pheasant where you shot it? Just my thoughts. Anyway you captured the shot and imprint perfectly. Van |

One of my chickens is missing and this is the only evidence. A red tailed hawk has been hanging around. |

That is simply astounding. Is this the mark left by a hawk after a catch? If so I can honestly say this is one of the most unusual shots I've ever seen. Brilliant. |
