 This was an attempt to capture the patterns of light on the brick / garage door & windows. It is a bit dark & I couldn't figure out how to lighten it without blowing it out.

I like the details and texture of the brick. The photo still has a lot of detail in it (even on this monitor), maybe try keeping it a bit darker?

Only way to do it is to shoot it before it gets too dark outside. Still got some nice detail on the bricks even if the fixture did overexpose.
