Beautiful color capture on the sky. The detail on the ground foliage leads me to wonder if this is HDR?

Well congrats from me for showing a close of day image without feeling the need to hammer it home in the title. Beautiful sky colouring which goes very well with the trees and the myriad of red flowers on the ground. Bump to 7

This is really interesting and stark. The colors are almost scary, but it may be a little over the top. How did you get all this with basic editing? Please give some details when the challenge is over because this is a very interesting photo. It looks pointillistic and almost 3D. The effect is very compelling. Not sure, however, how it relates to the "Closing" theme.

I like the complimentary colors. Great tree silhouettes. Using the rule of thirds could make this composition even stronger.
