This definitely tells the story of "closed." I like the idea behind the latch movement. I don't like the angle of view, though - I wish more of the background was available so that it helped tell the story of what was being closed.

A grower of a shot, I like the POV and the fact that you have actually got the gate latch in the act of closing. Possibly could have done with a slighter shallower dof to make the grass behind (which is a bit drab imo) more bokeh. The more I see this though the more I like it bump to 7

I really like what you have done here. The blurriness of the gate closing is what makes this shot interesting. You have really captured the "feeling" of closing. Well done.
