 Taken in Flint, MI where there are many boarded up homes and business - sad if you ask me.

I know it's not exactly "in the process" of closing, it's technically already closed, but I couldn't resist.

OK no doubt you will get some people saying that this is not something in the act of closing but rather something that is closed. Hopefully people wont be too picky on this because I think it meets the challenge well and that the duotone works very well with the image adding a sense of age and decay

Composition: Subject Placement, Cropping, Background good,
Technical: Focus, Exposure: good, nice timing,
Appeal:lovely soft colour, good focal point sad

Barrel distortion is serious in this shot. And the composition could be much better.

The tilt of the image and lack of detail in the highlights mars this image for me.

Nice idea. The highlights are a little bright. There is a lot of information to take in, perhaps a tighter crop would make this photo a little simpler.
