First day with the new camera. This was taken from the sidewalk looking in the window before the store opened. The street scene is a reflection. I went back later and took all sorts of colorful shots, but don't know why I liked this best.

I like it. I love B&W for one thing - it distills pictures down to essential elements in a lot of cases. And I love reflections. This works for me.

Nice shot Julianne. You've just made a lot of people very hungry. I think the B&W is nice. It gives it kind of a nostalgic feel.

I did see that picture of the power lines. I think yours and mine were both better but what do I know.

Hope you are liking your new camera? Very cool nostalgia feel here. Just missing the little kids. :) Wonderful entry for the challenge.

B&W here is great - the stark reality of all those calories! :) Tempting indeed. Nice reflection shot!

I love this strange mix of outside and inside. the world is your candy store! One of the best in the challenge. I gave you an 8 and would have bumped it up but I just gave up on this challenge.

Took me a min to realise what you were trying to achieve but think it works pretty good, nice creative idea.

The reflections are very distracting. I can't tell if the confections are the subject or the car.

Extra points for you for being brave enough to go B&W in this challenge :)

the display has a 1950's feel with this treatment, at least until I otice the newer cars. Nicely done.

good idea but reflections detract from the candy. Also, most candy looks better in colour.

The main thing I noticed first in this picture is the car.

why did you convert this to B&W? It looks great, but I didn't expect to find that in a candy challenge where nearly all photo's are bright and colorful.
nice job tho!
