A light purple Sunflower in a sea of Yellow ones so I thought it would be cool to try and show the color difference in B&W I hope it worked well enough. I took this at the market in out town this morning at 6:45am. The market has been in the same place in our town for about 145 years.

I love the effect that you have captured here with these awesome Sunflowers.....

I think you did a good job at making the purple one stand out, I might've used a little USM just to make it a tad sharper. Really nice though, it has an old photo look about it.

This is very nice. I can tell the difference. You could have used this in the Fill the Frame challenge. Nice crisp focus along with great contrast.

Well composed and the tones work very nicely here. I would agree with the comment below and tinker a little with the channel mixer, perhaps introduce a bit more contrast.

I only have Photoshop Elements 5.0 and I'm not sure that is a feature I have. But thank you for the tip and if I can talk my wife into CS3 I'll ask how to do it.

Tough scene, lots os similiar tones with a splash of brightness here and there. Overall I think it looks ok, but you might tinker around with channel mixer to see how you can get the different flowers to convert.
