Interesting and creative photo. The shoelace hanging out bothers me because the high contrast makes it look like three black spots.

A great shot - such an unusual perspective and I like the fat arrow head shape it leaves in the background. My only minor nitpick is the way the blowout on the white means the lace is kind of hard to see and therefore looks almost like dirt spots on the image. A great crop and composition.

I love how the arrow-shaped negative space helps imply the concept of motion.

Good. Artistic use of NS.

good use of theme, composition does nothing for me, sorry

The white area adds energy to the shoe and leg. In our left-to-right culture, moving to the left in motion or still pictures often suggests moving against the flow. Though nicely lit, I'd like to see a touch more detail in the end of the shoe lace (it almost disappears), and maybe a bit more contrast without overblowing the highlights on the show. 8

Great photo...but is this really negative space?

Good composition--the feel of the tension is communicated well by the bowing around the photo--great shot andrewm

I like the high contrast of this and the bw. I also think the framing is very effective

Love the framing and high contrast. Shame it's blown out that lace in the middle. Otherwise excellent work. 8 - floyd

Brilliant. The cropping makes this picture very special. The b/w is a good choice. Could see this in a sports shop, have you called Nike? 9-Martin

Nice use of black & white. Looks like it could be a tennis shoe ad.

Great high-key, but it's a little too blown out.
Would make a great stock shot for advertising. Nice composition and use of neg space. ~indigo997

How does everyone have a white or a black room? This is a great shot. I like the detail on the shoe and it is a good picture. I just wish I had a white room to take pictures like this. 8
