My bucket of miscellaneous bolts and things. Stirred once. Lighting by external flash. Slight crop, slight USM. Manual Exposure: see LUCK in dictionary. ONly took one shot, and it was good!

This might have worked with a wooden spoon thrown on top to tie in your title. As is, I don't know what to look at, and the focus doesn't vary enough to help me decide.

although this is a nice image, i think that i would have liked it even more if you had moved in closer to reveal a bit more of the texture of all these rusted parts, as well as any possible 'landscape' that you might be able to reveal among them.

Good choice of props but it might bear a little more contrast or a little less direct light. Such tremndous hues - who knew rust came in so many colors?
