 This is an attempt at a little darker shot, with DOF adjustment. Tried to almost black out the background while retaining the detail in the flower petals.

you did well on darkening the bg. the flower really pops out now.

I like the contrst between the dark background and the lighter flower. Nice focus and detail too.
