Visually, this stands above the others: a classically balanced composition, but then you wonder about the red sun, then really begin to notice what is happening... and finally, finally (after seeing the helicopter and water bomb(?)) appreciate your title. Stunning work.

Hard to see the tiny water-drop plane, but guessed something should be there from the title. But no matter; this is a great shot of the devastation, power, and light/darkness of a forest fire. Love the sun darkened by smoke!

Wow - pretty cool.

I think that is a helicopter carrying water? I think this is a major part of the story behind this image but it is just too small in the frame - I thought it was a bird at first...
