 Lurked for along time, thought I'd try this contest thing. My first attempt, hope it meets the challenge. It's a gorrillas hand, so powerful. When it's large enough you can see the Gorillias finger prints. I think it's an example of how we try to harness the power of nature, any criticisism welcome, I can handle it :)

This might have been more interesting with a different composition to it - less centered. But the textures are nicely focused and very interesting.

Excellent black and white photo. Perfect contrast and composition. Not sure if power is the feeling I get, more like desperation. Excellent photograph.
