Post challenge:Thanks for the high finish and comments every one. I am really proud how this one came out. I shot at ISO 800 and added contrast and NI as I resized to DPC entry, similar to what mpeters did on his Moon and Me shot. Lake Tahoe is one hell of a place on earth.

I like the image. It's a great shot, but I don't feel like it strongly represents the theme. I think it might be better if it were more of the stars or just the stars. I feel like the lights below take away from the stars.

Breath-takingly glorious! Fabulous scene and fabulous capture. I love the indigo blues of the sky and the way the dusting of stars sparkle out. Would not be surprised to see this in the top ten... good luck! :)
