 Went to a clay lick in Manu, Peru... just had to take this shot.

How i did it:

The shot was motion-blurred both from my panning and from the macaws flapping their wings, then:
Raw conversion including full noise reduction and "unsharpening" (RSE)
Levels
Curves (Inverse-S)
Brightness Contrast
Selective desat (using global sat controls)
Crop (this is the important bit: this is almost a 100% crop of the original)
Resize
Border
(no sharpening involved of course)

Hope this does well... i like how it turned out.

There is so much movement that it is hard to focus. I love the sweeping colors of the birds.

IMHP too out of focus and blurry. The colors are a bit dull too.
