 This was shot with a flash through a patio door. The cat is wild, and does not permit petting! But our friends feed it (and its family), so food overrides fear.

Good and sharp photo. Background is somewhat busy and perhaps you could skip the bottom part.

Not bad for a flash shot. I like the focus on the cat's face. I think what they mean by a snapshot feel is the fact that the background seems too busy and it is hard to focus on the cat and there isn't much range in the contrast. Composition is not bad and really you have a nice crisp focus on the cat's face.

Could use a bit more contrast. Some of the reflections are interesting, but overall it has a snapshot feel to it.
