Hi Charlene! I did not vote in this challenge as I still don't really have a good idea of what truly is a photographic impressionistic interpretation. In this, I do like the zoom blur on the right and then the contrast of oranges, yellows, and greens. The colors here really do catch your attention. A very pretty photo! |

My feeling about impressionism is that your are able to recognize the subject...and there is a lot of texture and brush strokes. I think that the soft blur doesn't say impressionism to me. |

The interplay of light and color recalls impressionist art. I find the part with stronger linear blur (right 1/5 of the photo) seems much more interesting and impressionistic than the parts where the flowers and leaves are easier to identify individually. |
