Back in Feb/March of 2004 a fellow poet, Euphoria (Kit Lange) wrote in her journal - "Even Flowers Grow On Rocks". That saying struck a strong cord with me. I set out to capture that sentiment and inspirational saying but was never really happy with it because the photo had so many technical & compositional flaws with it:

I have always wanted to go back and do a better job in capturing the spirit of her inspirational saying. I think that I have finally done so.

Well, actually, plants can't split rock at all. Usually it's the freeze-thaw of water that does it. Little nature nugget for ya. Good shot, though, and nice layout.
